We are looking for a motivated student who is curious about science and excited to work on challenging but highly rewarding scientific directions. We offer an engaging working environment, outstanding facilities (oxide epitaxy, aberration-corrected electron microscopy, synchrotron and neutron facilities) and a PhD-level education at ETH Zurich. A successful candidate should have a Master’s degree (or being close to its completion) in chemistry, physics, materials science, or related disciplines. We encourage applications from candidates with different and diverse backgrounds. Having a prior experience in one of these fields is a plus (though not necessary):
- Inorganic chemistry and/or crystallochemistry/crystallography
- Physical chemistry
- Theory and theoretical physics or chemistry
- Condensed matter physics
- Electron microscopy
Application deadline 31st May, 2021.
